i think it was good for me that it was soooo last minute. i couldn't imagine trying to sleep the night before a scheduled C. everything happens for a reason!!! my hubby dropped me off at the hospital. i actually walked my self up to the maternity floor. and he went home to pack my stuff and get the CAMERA!!! he made it back with 10 minutes to spare ;-)))
the spinal.... hmmmm do you want to know??? let's just say... it took 3x par for the course...one for each baby! lol 3yrs, 3 ivf's, 3 babies!!!! i had no c section pain though....my back hurt from the spinal is all and probably the hospital bed.
the birth was AMAZING!!!! i was actually holding my anestsioligist (sp) hand...lol my hubby videoed the whole thing!!!! not the yucky stuff, just the nurses grabbing the babies and announcing it's a ..... it's was amazing because i could hear everything i just couldn't SEE anything. sooo the next day i was able to put everything i heard to sight!! amazing!!! i was laughing and crying... best experience ever!!!
the babies were in the nicu for 7,8 and 9 days. they came home one baby at a time!!! and i didn't/wouldn't leave the hospital without a baby! the nicu had a room i could stay in...thank God! only liam needed cpap for 13 hours. otherwise they were perfect!!!!
i couldn't be happier!!!! they are the loves of my life!!! a schedule is the key!
well..I'm glad someone can schedule! 'Cause twin Mama over here can't...and I'm probably paying for it. 13 months old, and one is still up every few hours! Where have I gone wrong? haha... Hoping it's teething and will be better soon.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I can't wait to meet your little one's. They are so adorable!
